Practitioner Certificate in Records Management (eLearning Programme)

 

The Practitioner Certificate in Records Management ("PC.rm.") is the practical qualification for those that work in the fields of records management and information governance. Successful completion of the Practitioner Certificate in Records Management Programme demonstrates to employers and others that the candidate possesses a solid knowledge of, and competence in, records management practice.

The Qualificaton can be undertaken on the following basis:

  • eLearning Programme (also known as "Distance Learning")
  • Standard Programme (conducted in-person within a traditional Classroom setting)

eLearning Programme

Facilitated via a dedicated training platform, the eLearning Programme provides candidates with the ability to study the material 'on-demand' in their own time and at their own pace, either at home or in the office.

The comprehensive materials consist of video presentations, written materials, and self-assessment multiple choice questions (‘MCQs’). The MCQs allow candidates to test their knowledge and understanding as they progress through the materials, and to prepare for the online examination.

 

The Exam

The Examination is undertaken online, and consists partly of Multiple Choice Questions and partly of a Written Assignment.

 

The Fee

The fee for the Distance Learning Programme is €1,495. A discount of 10% is available for each additional candidate from your organisation enrolling at the same time. Group Licenses with additional discounts are also available.

 

Online Assessment

The Programme is entirely "on-demand" enabling you to study at your own pace whether at home, in the office or on the move
