How will the Virtual Conference be facilitated?
PDP has commissioned a dedicated events platform provider to live-stream the Speakers Day of the Conference so delegates can enjoy a full virtual experience. The platform has functionality for networking via 'round tables', as well as a delegate chat facility.
What is included with my Conference place?
Your booking gives you access to all the Speakers Presentations from Day 1 which will be streamed on the day. Delegates who book a place at Day 2 choose two interactive LIVE workshops (from a choice of six) which are facilitated via a meetings based platform.
How will I be given access to the Conference platform?
We will be sending out joining instructions a few days before the conference. Theis will outline exactly how to access the portal along with your own personal login credentials. We will also provide a full agenda for the Speakers Presentations to ensure you are prepared for when the streaming begins.
Can I partake in the Conference with a tablet or mobile device?
Yes. The platform is configured to run on laptops, PCs and most mobile devices. As the platform is accessed through a web browser, you will need a strong and stable internet connection.
What types of payment do you accept?
To protect our colleagues in light of the restrictions around COVID, we are currently only accepting payment by bank transfer.
Can we pay for the conference course by credit/debit card?
PDP does not currently accept payments by card.
Is a discount available for multiple delegates attending the same conference?
Yes. Multiple-delegates and Group discounts are available. For more information, view the Fees webpage here.
Can I reserve a place while I wait for a Purchase Order number to be raised that I need you to include on the invoice?
PDP does not accept provisional bookings. Your booking is confirmed when we send you an invoice. If you need us to include a PO number on your invoice, please supply us with this information at the time of booking.
What happens if I need to cancel my conference place?

Where will the conference be held?
PDP Conferences take place in high quality central city hotel venues, or at the premises of our partner firms. Full joining instructions, including a map and directions, will be sent to all delegates two weeks prior to the event.
Is lunch included?
Yes, lunch is included for all delegates at all PDP conferences.
What types of payment do you accept?
We accept payment by cheques and bank transfers.
Can we pay for the conference course by credit/debit card?
PDP does not currently accept payments by card.
Is a discount available for multiple delegates attending the same conference? Yes, discounts are available for multiple delegates attending from your organisation on the same conference. Standard discounts are 15% for the 2nd delegate, and 20% for each of the 3rd and subsequent delegates, although different discounts may be notified on this website for certain events. The discount will be applied to the least expensive booking in each case.
Are CPD Points available for attending conferences? Although PDP’s training courses are accredited by the Institute of Bankers, the LIA and Insurance Institute of Ireland, for conference events you will need to take steps to ensure that you are able to claim CPD points from your own membership body – this may involve an application process.
